Britney Spears has had enough with the “horrible and mean lies” written about her.

The superstar entertainer made an announcement on her Instagram about laying low in the immediate future.

Britney wrote in a new post, “In a system where I’ve felt completely hopeless for so long, at least I do have a platform to share !!!! As Selena Gomez says it best – The world can be a nasty place … I know it … you know it … kill them with kindness ☀️☀️☀️ !!!”

Britney continued, “Unfortunately the news has been pretty nasty saying horrible and mean lies about me so I’m gonna post a little less from now on 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!! God bless you beautiful people … TA TA 👋🏼 !!!!”

If you don’t know, Britney has been in a massive legal battle to free herself from her conservatorship. Over the weekend, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who has taken a lot of heat over what Britney’s been through, was crying in an audio clip.

Britney even threw shade at Jamie Lynn publicly.
