Kristin Chenoweth hits the stage to entertain the crowd at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala Benefitting F Cancer on Saturday (October 13) at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, Calif.
The Emmy and Tony-winning actress flew to L.A. just to perform and had to fly back to N.Y. the next day for rehearsals for the Wicked 15th Anniversary Concert.
Kristin was scheduled to sing with Ariana Grande, but she was unable to attend at the last minute. She instead performed the song “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables.
Music manager Scooter Braun‘s wife Yael was being honored at the event and he scrambled to find a replacement for Ariana and found the perfect person to appear. Yael‘s favorite comedian Trevor Noah closed out the night with a hilarious stand-up set.
The Goldbergs‘ Jeff Garlin hosted the event and hilariously inserted himself into all of the live auction items. He offered experiences like a stand-up show at his home and the chance to watch Pirates of the Caribbean with him, all to get the donors to up their bids. And it worked!
