'And Just Like That' Season 2: Fans Notice One Character Is Missing From Trailer & Poster

And Just Like That finally has an official season two premiere date on HBO Max (now known as Max), and with the debut date, came some new materials from the streaming service.

Fans got to see the new poster for the series, as well as some photos to go along with the teaser trailer that was released in late April.

However, fans noticed one person has been missing from all of the press materials!

Where is Steve!? If you’re a Sex and the City fan, you’ll know that Steve (David Eigenberg) is the husband of Miranda (Cynthia Nixon). At the end of And Just Like That season one, Miranda makes the decision to leave NYC (and Steve) and head to Los Angeles with new love interest Che (Sara Ramírez).

Steve was nowhere to be seen in the first teaser trailer, and he’s also not included in the poster (which you can see in full in the gallery below).

However, Just Jared did some additional digging.

HBO did confirm the following cast members as “returning series regulars” for the upcoming second season: Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, Alexa Swinton, and finally, David Eigenberg. Fans are concluding that because David‘s name is on the official cast list, perhaps there’s a special story line that isn’t being teased just yet. Or perhaps his role is extremely minimal due to Miranda’s decision. We’ll have to wait and see, but, for now, David‘s name is still included in the season 2 cast list.

And Just Like That‘s first two episodes of season 2 will debut on June 22. The 11 episode season will release weekly after that. See the AJLT set photos that had fans freaking out a few months ago!
