Miles Teller is ready for a Top Gun: Maverick sequel.
In an interview with ET on Thursday (July 7), the 35-year-old actor said that he’s already had conversations with Tom Cruise about a follow-up to the movie.

“That would be great, but that’s all up to TC,” he told the outlet. “It’s all up to Tom. I’ve been having some conversations with him about it. We’ll see.”
Regardless of whether the sequel ends up happening, Miles said he’s just happy to have developed a relationship with his co-star, adding that he had just sent Tom a message the other day in honor of his birthday.
“For him to share Top Gun with me and a lot of these other young actors it’s just been such a wild ride, and it’s still going,” he continued.
Miles also responded to the news that the film had become Tom‘s first to cross the $1 billion mark, telling ET, “That’s definitely what my team has been saying for these future negotiations.”
