Jamie Dornan Says Robert Pattinson Didn't 'Fit In' With Their Friends Because of His 'Twilight' Fame

Jamie Dornan is responding to some recent claims Robert Pattinson made about their friendship.

The pair lived together alongside fellow actors Charlie Cox, Eddie Redmayne and Andrew Garfield during the early days of their career and Robert recently told ET that his roommates would often leave him behind and only offered him “pity invites” to events.

Jamie reacted to Robert‘s comments during an interview with ET at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards.

“The pity invite? No. I think with Rob it’s always been like, he sort of had success earlier, so we were a bit like, ‘Does he really fit in with us?’ Because we were not working and he’s working all the time,” Jamie told the outlet. “He did Twilight and was suddenly in a different stratosphere than us.”

He continued, “We’ve sort of, not caught up, but we all started working more consistently, but yeah, Jesus, we’ve known each other a long time.”

In a separate interview, Jamie joked that Robert was invited to events because he was the “good looking” member of the group.

“We never left him at home, why would you leave him at home? He was the good-looking one,” he told Access Hollywood. “He got us all in, he got us all the attention. He was too successful for us early on.”

Jamie was spotted on the red carpet with his wife Amelia Warner and you can see all the photos of them here!
