Imelda Staunton Takes A Boat Ride As Queen Elizabeth To Film 'The Crown' in Scotland

Imelda Staunton opens up her bottle of water to get a drink while heading out to sea to film new scenes for the upcoming season of The Crown, in MacDuff, Scotland on Monday (August 2).

The 65-year-old actress, alongside crew and other actors including Andrew Havill, were seen heading out to sea on a small yacht that was made to look like a Royal transport for the upcoming season.

Queen Elizabeth visited the fishing village in 1961 and it seems like this will be featured in the show for season five.

Just a few days ago, Netflix revealed the first look of Imelda as the Sovereign for the upcoming season.

She’ll star opposite the new cast of Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip. Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Jonny Lee Miller as John Major.

Find out about the protocols put in place on the series due to the pandemic here.
