Hulu may be adding to their Marvel catalog.
The streamer’s head of scripted content Jordan Helman spoke out in an interview with Deadline.
During the conversation, he spoke about the possibility of more Marvel shows coming to the platform.
Most recently, Hulu aired live-action series Helstrom for one season, until it was canceled. Two of the four planned animated series, Howard The Duck and Tigra & Dazzler, also did not go ahead.
“Marvel continues to be an incredibly important partner and one of the biggest generators of content within the Disney ecosystem so we’re excited about the possibility of what may lie in the future with regards to the Hulu/Marvel relationship,” he teased.
Hulu animated series Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. is awaiting a decision of moving forward for a second season.
“We have not yet made a determination yet,” he confirmed.
There’s another animated Marvel series, Hit Monkey, arriving later this year at Hulu as well.
The exec also noted that adult animated originals, including Solar Opposites and Crossing Swords, “have performed in a major way,” and “over the new several months, we’re doubling down.”
One big star recently confirmed he will not be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
