Travis Kelce shocked the sports world – and his teammates – after making a big reveal this week.
His last name is not pronounced “Kel-sea.” Since the 31-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs entered the league, the world has been pronouncing his last name that way.

Travis revealed that his last name is actually pronounced, “Kels,” shocking his star teammates including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and more.
“I got ‘Kel-see’ then I got ‘Kels.’ My real name is ‘Kels,’ so I mean I just kind of roll with the punches,” Travis revealed on the Barstool Sports’ Bussin’ with the Boys podcast.
