Queen Elizabeth Lays Down Rule For Prince Philip's Funeral: No Military Attire

Queen Elizabeth has just banned military attire at Prince Philip‘s funeral, this coming weekend.

According to The Telegraph, the monarch laid down the rule after many questions were raised over if Prince Harry would be the only member of the Royal Family not to wear them.

Harry was stripped of his honorary military titles once he stepped down as Senior Royal.

In order to keep the focus on honoring Prince Philip, the Queen has advised all senior male royals to simply wear suits and ties and dispatch with the uniforms.

The matter was brought up following a report that Prince Andrew had made the request to wear his own uniform.

Andrew had stepped away from royal duties in 2019, after his association with Jeffrey Epstein was made more public. However, his military status was never stripped of him.

The details of Prince Philip‘s funeral were made public a few days ago.
