Hideki Matsuyama Wins & Makes History At Masters 2021 Tournament

Hideki Matsuyama has made history!

The 29-year-old Japanese golfer won the 2021 Masters tournament, held at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday (April 11) in Augusta, Ga.

The win makes Hideki the first male Japanese player who has won a major PGA Tour tournament.

While Hideki took the title, Will Zalatoris was second with Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffele, shared the third place spot.

Following the tournament, Hideki was presented teh coveted green Masters jacket by last year’s champion, Dustin Johnson.

Dustin had not qualified to move on for the 36-hole cut of the weekend tournament.

Earlier over the weekend, Will made headlines for his likeness to this movie character.
