Brie Larson‘s new superhero movie Captain Marvel is now playing in theaters and it’s on track to have a massive opening weekend at the box office!
The film earned $61.4 million on Friday for its opening day (including $20.7 million from Thursday previews) and the film is expected to earn $155-$160 million for the full weekend, according to THR.
Captain Marvel is on track to have the second-biggest opening of all time for a new superhero character behind Black Panther‘s $200 million opening weekend from last year.
