Daniel Kaluuya stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (October 25) and revealed that his mother isn’t really impressed by his success since Get Out.
“Because there’s no stable income, she doesn’t understand it,” the 29-year-old actor expressed. “She doesn’t understand the term freelance, she doesn’t get it.”
“I was like, ‘Mom, I got nominated for an Oscar!’, and she was like, ‘Congratulations, does this mean you’re going to have a job?’” Daniel said.
Daniel also talked about doing an American accent, the words he can’t say, what his family in Uganda did when Black Panther came out, talks about his new movie Widows, and makes a very controversial and horrifying statement about pizza.
