A new trailer for the next installment in The Hunger Games franchise has dropped!

Joseph Zada and Mckenna Grace are among the young stars in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, based on the hit novel by Suzanne Collins.

“Sunrise on the Reaping” is the fifth book in the series, and marks the second prequel.

What is The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping about?

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping follows sixteen-year-old Haymitch Abernathy (Zada) from District 12, beginning on the morning of the reaping for the 50th Annual Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell, the biggest Games yet with twice as many tributes.

Set in the world of Panem 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games, the story follows Haymitch into the arena, where he forms an unlikely alliance with fellow tribute Maysilee Donner (Grace) and joins a coalition determined to challenge the Capitol’s control under President Snow (Ralph Fiennes). As the competition unfolds, Haymitch risks everything to take down the Games from within the arena — setting in motion the rebellion that will change Panem forever.

Who else stars in the movie?

Alongside Joseph, Mckenna, and Ralph, the movie also features Jesse Plemons, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr in the cast.

When does the movie come out?

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping will hit theaters on November 20th!

Freya Skye is back with new music!

The 16-year-old Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires star just released her brand new single, “bad taste,” following overwhelming positive reactions from performing it on tour.

“I got bad taste / But you sure know how to make my heart race / You’ve been livin’ rent-free, chillin’ in the backseat of my brain / It’s a good start, you look like a good heartbreak, uh-huh / Guess I got, I got bad taste,” she sings in the chorus.

Hollywood Arts alums are returning to their performing arts high school in the trailer for the upcoming Victorious sequel series!

Daniella Monet is, of course, starring as Trina Vega and serving as an executive producer, but she’s not the only one reprising her role from the original Nickelodeon series.

As previously announced, Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen and Eric Lange as the show’s OG improv teacher, Mr Sikowitz, and we now know that Matt Bennett will also be returning as Robbie, along with his ventriloquist dummy, Rex!

What is Hollywood Arts about?

Struggling actress Trina Vega (Monet) returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students as they learn to find their true path at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.

Who else stars in Hollywood Arts?

Alongside Daniella, the series will star a crop of young actors, including Alyssa Miles, Erika Swayze, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, and Martin Kamm.

Also just announced to be joining the cast are The Thundermans‘ Kira Kosarin, YouTuber Lexi Rivera, fashion influencer and red carpet correspondent Taylen Biggs, and contortionist/internet personality Sofie Dossi.

When does Hollywood Arts premiere?

That’s a wrap on Netflix’s upcoming new live-action Scooby-Doo series!

The streamer has announced that production has wrapped on Scooby-Doo: Origins ahead of its release in 2027.

Along with the wrap announcement, Netflix shared a super cute new photo of the pup playing a young Scooby-Doo.

What is the series about?

A modern reimagining of the iconic mystery-solving group of teens and their very special dog. During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.

Who stars in Scooby-Doo: Origins?

The upcoming live-action series stars Mckenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones, and Paul Walter Hauser in a mystery role.

That’s a wrap on the upcoming The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen!

Disney revealed that filming has finished on the fourth Cheetah Girls movie, which will reunite several OG stars and introduce a new group of Cheetahs.

“That’s a wrap on The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen,” Disney shared on Instagram, along with a video of the cast and executive producer Debra Martin Chase shouting the same words.

What is The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen about?

The story picks up when Cheetah Girls Galleria and Chanel, alongside Galleria’s daughter Faith and her three friends, travel to Africa to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, these four teen girls test their friendship, find their voice, and discover the true Cheetah spirit as they save the preserve and ultimately take the stage as the new Cheetah Girls.

OG star Raven-Symoné is set to executive produce alongside the first three movies’ executive producer Debra Martin Chase.

Bille Woodruff has been tapped to direct, with a script by Kara Holden, Sarah Watson, and Deborah Swisher. In addition, famed choreographer Kyle Hanagami (Mean Girls) will choreograph!

Who stars in the movie?

Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon will reprise their roles as Galleria and Chanel, respectively, while Sabrina Bryan also returns as Dorinda in a special appearance. Kiely Williams, who played Aqua, is not set to return.

Leah Sava Jeffries has been cast as Raven‘s daughter, Faith, Electric Bloom’s Carmen Sanchez will play Adrienne‘s sister, Dior, Kaileen Chang joins as Ruby, and Sophie Lennon has been cast as Brooklyn.

Also joining the cast is newcomer Kamogelo Ramashala as Kendi. He is a local South African actor who was discovered during Disney’s global open casting call!

In addition, OG stars Lynn Whitfield and Lori Alter will be back as Dorothea and Juanita, Galleria and Chanel’s moms, and Sophia Bush joins as Jennifré.

Filming took place in South Africa, starting in July and recently wrapping up.

The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen does not yet have a release date, but is said to be “coming soon.”

Disney stars are heading back out on tour this fall on the second Worlds Collide Concert Tour!

Stars from Descendants, Zombies, and Camp Rock 3 are hitting the road across the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Europe for a 62-date tour, starting later this month and going through February 2027.

Who is going on tour?

Malachi Barton (Zombies 4, Camp Rock 3), Dara Renee (Descendants: The Rise of Red), and Mekonnen Knife (Zombies 4) are returning after being a part of the last tour, and they’ll be joined by Liamani Segura (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, Camp Rock 3), Hudson Stone (Camp Rock 3), Swayam Bhatia (Zombies 4), Kiara Romero (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland), and Alexandro Byrd (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland) this time around.

Fans attending the upcoming tour can expect many songs from the recently released movies, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3, as well as tracks from past Descendants and Zombies movies.

Notably, on the set list preview, there are only two Zombies songs, so we’ll have to wait and see how many songs are added to the set list!

Johnny Orlando is returning to acting!

The 23-year-old Canadian singer has been cast as a new series regular in the Netflix ice-skating series, Finding Her Edge.

Johnny joins the cast as the “charismatic local” Jesse, according to Teen Vogue.

What is Finding Her Edge about?

The series follows the three Russo sisters, heirs to a struggling figure skating dynasty. As middle sister, seventeen-year-old Adriana trains for the World Championships with new partner Brayden, while still harbouring feelings for her first love and former partner, Freddie. Her life becomes complicated when she and Brayden pretend to be a couple off the ice so they can land a sponsorship to keep the financially struggling Russo rink afloat.

Johnny joins previously announced returning stars Madelyn Keys, Olly Atkins, and Cale Ambrozic in the series, which is based on the book of the same name by Jennifer Iacopelli.

Production on season two is now underway in Southern Ontario. A release date has not been revealed at this time.

“The world fell in love with our figure skaters in Season 1, and it’s a privilege to be able to continue their character arcs as they swap Russo Rink for Voltage Skating Academy with new loves, new rivalries, and new competitions,” showrunner and executive producer Jeff Norton teased with Tudum. “Get ready for a seriously swoonworthy, soapy romantic rollercoaster as Adriana Russo (Keys) navigates life after winning Worlds.”

If you recall, Johnny was last seen acting in the Brat TV digital series, Total Eclipse, from 2018 to 2020. Finding Her Edge will mark his television acting debut!
